Only wish B&K's superb salt beef was more consistently moist and melty.youngandfoodishhttp://youngandfoodish.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8698479049752394943.post-50096988688645991332010-06-10T11:16:16.727+01:002010-06-10T11:16:16.727+01:00Oooh, looks very good! Bread and sandwich itself average, but the salt beef is terrific.Niamhhttp://www.eatlikeagirl.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8698479049752394943.post-28953685603504980322010-06-09T20:57:37.540+01:002010-06-09T20:57:37.540+01:00my goodness, I've very rarely seen such beefy ...my goodness, I've very rarely seen such beefy goodness - this place, I must visit!issei.pshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691501876153427648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8698479049752394943.post-10242083507815586852010-06-09T16:46:46.954+01:002010-06-09T16:46:46.954+01:00Hi Anon. You see, my uncle worked there for about fifteen years, before moving on and starting his own business. He was in charge of brining and boiling the salt beef there and to be honest, I'm quite biased because of the link! I think Gaby's is very good, and a great option (at a good price) for the area, but B&K is hard to beat. If I could choose one, it'd be B&K, but one is in Edgware and the other is in the centre of London, so it may just come down to convenience!

Grubworm - Exactly. Meat and bread, bit of mustard and you're done. Very nice. I think there's a few places in Edgware worth seeking out, especially if you want to try out more Kosher foods. There's also a couple of well liked Turkish places and a few Caribbean jerk shops that looks alright.Ibzohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15814551739006065436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8698479049752394943.post-52614696455191494932010-06-09T08:48:52.298+01:002010-06-09T08:48:52.298+01:00That does look like a finely judged sandwich.
